At Sapphire Engineering, we believe in doing a first class job, being flexible and open to try new things, and in getting stuck in and having a go. We come equipped with the skills, passion, machines, and professional connections to complete a wide variety of work- and complete it well. We also have our eyes open for opportunities to support our customers with new lines of products where the alternatives are inferior or overpriced. So, not only can we machine a wide variety of components to your specifications, but we can source very diverse parts and products from other industries through our network of well placed suppliers. Where possible or feasible, we endeavour to source Australian made products, and we are proud to supply only high quality workmanship and products – even if our price is lower than the competition
Our Story
From a traditional base of fitting and machining, the business (then not yet known as Sapphire Engineering) immediately launched itself into mechanical prototyping with one very involved project, and then smaller ones. From there it has branched out into some hydraulic work (particularly in post-tensioning equipment), slotting work, very detailed work (such as parts for antiques), and parts supply into various industries
